Spring is the perfect time for new growth opportunities - and the MFA e-Learning programs are designed to provide strong foundations for a career in media.

Clear some space on the knowledge shelf, dust off those learning receptors, and get ready to upskill – or to upskill your team - with the MFA e-Learning Spring Semester.

For newcomers in the media agency, marketing, or media owner industries ready to upskill, or more experienced industry people keen to broaden their media knowledge, these programs provide strong foundations for supporting growth and career success.

With registrations open for the final semester of 2024, we asked OMD Co-CEO Sian Whitnall, what sets MFA e-Learning programs apart – and she made quite a case!

Over to you Sian...

As our industry evolves, and media agencies seek to diversify our talent pool, we must ensure newcomers are given the best possible start by simplifying the complexity of our industry.

The best way to do that, in my view, is by deploying the unique and powerful content of the MFA e-Learning programs. The courses offer upskill and engage our newest talent as they settle into the dynamic - but let’s be honest, often complex and fast-moving - media industry.

What sets the MFA e-learning programs apart?

  1. They are created by a collaboration of experienced professionals from across the industry and grounded in the realities of real-world scenarios, MFA Digital Foundations and MFA Television Foundations provide a standardised benchmark for what constitutes basic digital and television proficiency in the industry. For the thousands of professionals from media agencies, media owners and marketers who have completed the program, a rigorous exam process puts their knowledge into practice, ensuring they’re well placed to carry their newfound knowledge into their day-to-day work.

  2. They provide bias-free, unified foundations: Having been part of the team that created the original MFA Digital Foundations, I can vouch that the development of the content wasn’t easy - but it was thorough, which is why it is so strong. Until you are all in a room debating the definition of ‘paid search’, you don’t realise how much of the training in our industry comes with the biases of the business we work within or the experiences we have had. And that is why I can say with confidence that the resulting courses provide the fundamentals, a level set, free of bias.

For our OMD team, this has proven to be a game changer in how we onboard those new to the industry.

All our new starters are required to complete the MFA Foundations as part of their core knowledge, which we can then overlay with how we operate as an agency. It allows us to upskill quickly and when completed we have seen that the candidates are less likely to churn.

If you have new industry members in your team, or your client does, (shout out for May's article on The Impact of Client’s Completing MFA e-Learning) now’s the time to get them registering for the final programs running in 2024, with registration open for all courses.
