TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASE AND ATTENDANCE AT THE MEDIA FEDERATION OF AUSTRALIA (MFA) EVENTS

The MFA provides various services to its members and runs education and various programs, events and functions (Programs) in order to promote and educate the Media Communication Agency Industry. This includes certification exam events for members along with various training events for members and non-members such as the Tertiary sector.

All MFA tickets are issued subject to these terms and conditions of sale and entry. By purchasing tickets and/or attending any MFA event(s) the purchaser and any attendee agree to comply with these terms and conditions. The MFA reserves the right to refuse any application for registration or entry into an event without reason.

Tickets

  • 100% payment is required at time of booking.
  • Payment must be made prior to the function/event/exam to secure your registration.
  • All events are priced in Australian dollars plus GST


Cancellations by the MFA

The MFA reserves the right to:

  • Cancel/alter scheduled dates for any MFA events
  • Change the location of any MFA event
  • Substitute speakers for an MFA event

In the event of an event being cancelled. The MFA will notify registered attendees via email, prior to the event date to offer an alternative date or to refund in full the event fee. If your payment is received after maximum numbers are reached, the MFA will contact you and a full refund will be made.

Cancellations by Attendees

MFA Digital Foundation Certification Exam

MFA Digital Foundations Certification Exam events bookings are non transferrable.

If you wish to cancel more than 10 working days before the event date, we will refund the cost of the ticket.

If you wish to cancel less than 10 working days before the event date, no ticket costs will be refunded.

If you wish to cancel after the event has started, no ticket costs will be refunded.

MFA 5+ Inspiration Series events

Tickets are non-refundable, although if a person can no longer attend, the ticket maybe transferred to another 5+ person at your company.  The MFA must be notified in writing of any ticket transfers.

 

Change of date requests by Attendees

MFA Digital Foundation Certification Exam

The MFA will make every effort to accommodate all requests to change the date of your booking more than 10 working days before the event date, pending availability.

Any change of date requests less than 10 working days before the event date, cannot be accepted and the cancellation policy will apply.

All cancellations or date change requests must be notified in writing to the MFA Event Organiser.

Non-attendance

All MFA events

Non-attendance of any event due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds, or a transfer to another event.
