Overview:
Dealing directly with our media partners including television, radio, digital, outdoor, and print, our Investment Manager will have a love of buying media! They will be comfortable leading trading negotiations and discussions and, will work to ensure we’re providing our clients with high levels of added value and media ROI.
Responsibilities
Trading
- Supporting the roll out of the cloud-based Spectra MD platform
- Negotiating, trading, monitoring and optimisating of direct relationship media campaigns
- Taking initiative to seek out and understand new developments in the channels, and platforms that you are using day to day
Campaign Reporting
- Assisting in the optimisation of the reporting process
- Providing the client with insightful campaign information and commentary
- Carrying out post campaign presentations to share outcomes of client campaigns
Financial Accuracy
- Collaborate with the Finance team to generate campaign invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain and Build Relationships
- Meet with TV networks and media partners to gain insight into upcoming programming, industry trends and new opportunities for the agency and our clients
- Develop strong working relationships with our clients
Skills, Education & Experience
- 2+ years experience as a media trader / buyer.
- Relationship and communication skills in person, by phone and over email.
- Attention to detail and emphasis on data quality checking.
- Experience working with television ratings, TV Map, VOZ, Spectra MD, RegTAM, eTAM etc.
- Experience working with different media channels such as television, radio, outdoor, cinema, print, digital etc.
- Strong Excel skills and abilities.
- Strong negotiator with analytical mindset.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Experience within the Australian, English or New Zealand market highly beneficial.
- The right to work in Australia without sponsorship.
