Henry Tajer was named the 2015 MFA Hall of Fame recipient, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the media industry.
Appointed global CEO of IPG Mediabrands earlier this year, Henry is a passionate advocate for the industry and regarded as a true visionary. Credited with the outstanding success of the IPG Australian operation in recent years, he now runs a business that currently invests $37 billion in global media on behalf of clients and employs more than 7,500 marketing communication specialist in 127 countries.
An MFA Board Director for over 10 years including 3 years as Chairman, he has been instrumental in the growth and development of the MFA, working tirelessly for the cause. He has made a significant contribution to nurturing and developing talent in Australia, within his own organisation and the wider industry. Including architecting the hugely successful MFA NGEN program, which is credited with reducing industry turnover by over 35% and now boasts 2800 members.
