With record registrations across the 2024 program, are NGENers gearing up to be better equipped for the modern workplace than ever before?

With the NGEN 2024 program experiencing waitlists for live events, record attendance at Bootcamps, and over 180 NGENers registered for a single virtual seminar last month – it’s been a strong start to 2024 for our next generation of leaders.

By the end of May, over 2,000 NGENers will have attended a variety of workshops and events in a program designed to accelerate the skills they need to build a modern career, in a modern workplace.

Already this year, over 50 industry speakers have inspired NGENers by sharing their insights, perspectives, tips, and the powerful lessons they have learned through their own career journey. From the art of storytelling, creative idea generation and presentation skills, to resilience, self-awareness, work life balance and leading with energy. In addition, three very full Bootcamps gave our newest NGENers a thorough introduction to navigating the industry. All up, NGENers who are maximising the program, are on a fast track.

So now is the time to keep your NGENers on track

Thank you to leaders & team managers for encouraging and supporting NGENers to attend the events and workshops available to them. Your ongoing endorsement of the program’s value in their early years in the industry, is key to NGENers ongoing engagement, ensuring they maximise the program.

As we all know, as the year progresses, just when we thought things couldn’t get busier, they always seem to anyway. So with registrations now open for the rest of this year’s program, it’s important to reinforce to your NGENers that continued attendance at the workshops is an investment in their career.

To support your conversations, and your NGENers choice of workshops, you can view the full schedule in the NGEN Career Skills Guide. Still to come in 2024 includes:

  • Client trust and respect
  • Commercial acumen
  • Effective business writing
  • Inclusivity in the workplace
  • The art of public speaking
  • Knowing your strengths & nailing your pitch
  • Unlocking the gift of feedback
  • Managing yourself and others under pressure

Plus of course, NGEN’s biggest social event of the year, the annual NGEN Halloween Party. This iconic event that wraps up the calendar, is guaranteed to be a sell-out, which is why the NGENers who attend three or more NGEN sessions during the year, are first on the list to be offered priority access.
