Job Profiles

There are a vast range of positions in advertising media so chances are there is something that will connect with your interests and skills. The following areas broadly summarise the different fields you can pursue. All of these positions require creative thinking, energy and passion.

Management

Ranging from CEO, Managing Director, Client Services Director, Group Manager or Account Management, there are a multitude of managerial positions that have corporate responsibilities and client management responsibilities.

Strategy

Strategic roles have the responsibility of addressing the clients marketing objectives by gathering the information from a range of sources (internal and external) to help determine who to target, the most effective communication channel and establish a communication solutions to meet all these requirements. Strategic positions have strong communication with their clients.

Research

Research positions ensure that the agency has the optimum research capabilities to offer their clients with a strong emphasis on proprietary research to ensure a competitive advantage of information and knowledge.

Implementation

Implementation roles are responsibility to identifying how the strategy can best be implemented to ensure the right environment and right cost are delivered whilst maintaining the strategic requirements for the campaign.

Buying

The function of negotiation and placing all campaign activity and monitoring its performance to ensure objectives are met. This role entails strong relationships with media owners.

Digital and Digital Creative

All aspects of digital placement, activation and message creation are offered by most agencies today.

Sponsorship and Promotions

This area requires the development of strategies and implementation of ideas that leverage media properties through promotional or sponsorship activity.
