About MFA
The Media Federation of Australia (MFA) is the peak body representing media communication companies.
The MFA is a non-for-profit organisation established in 1997 with a current membership base that represents around 72% of all media billings placed by Media Agencies in Australia.
The MFA’s vision is to encourage operational excellence in the field of media communication connections and to define and develop best practice standards to support its member and the role it plays in servicing its clients.
Core objectives of the MFA include the following
- To promote, develop and defend the rights and interests of members in conducting the business of media communication practitioners.
- To promote understanding of the role of media communication practitioners.
- To establish industry standards of performance, ethics and accountability.
- To encourage and promote the industry to attract and retain quality personnel
- To review, encourage and promote consumer and media research information relevant to the needs of the industry.
- Encourage and maintain effective communication and collaboration with other key industry bodies on matters of relevance
The MFA recruits over 90 individual volunteers to sit on one our nine internal committees and 20 external committees. This level of enthusiasm is demonstration of the passion and committment from the agencies to ensure the continual growth and improvement for the industry at large.
